As part of the Lithuanian Season in France, the association Art en Partage, in partnership with the Lithuanian collective ‘Fluxus Labas!’, is bringing together Lithuanian artists whose work focuses on public space, participatory dynamics and environmental issues. This travelling festival encourages artists to collaborate with French partner associations and institutions to experiment, create and interact together.
The festival is taking place in Seine-Saint-Denis, on the banks and banks of the Ourcq canal, in partnership with the Magasins Généraux, the Wonder, the Fiminco Foundation, the Coloc' de l'Ourcq and the Parc départemental de la Bergère. The artists, in dialogue with the local area, are presenting works, installations and performances in keeping with the season's theme: ‘Global Neighbourhood’. This project invites us to reflect on the current climate challenges, to rethink our common future in Europe and to consider nature as an essential pillar of our resilience and survival.
We invite you to discover a range of artistic interventions, in a participative and collaborative dynamic.

Arūnas Mozūraitis and Clara Giambino
Based in Kaunas and active on the European artistic scene, street dancer Arunas Mozūraitis (Lithuania) and contemporary dancer Clara Giambino (France) form a duo halfway between their artistic worlds. In their work, Clara and Arūnas seek to fuse the boundaries between the two styles, to highlight their cultures by sharing the same space, linking bodies in movement. They will be performing at the Magasins Généraux in Pantin on 26 October 2024, as part of the ‘GRANDE VILLE’ exhibition. Their performance ‘ONE’ is a testament to the enduring power of nature and its profound links with humanity, offering a moment of breath and connection in the heart of the city.

Oasis urbaine
Monika Žaltė (born 1975) is an internationally renowned artist, teacher at the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and exhibition curator. A recognised specialist in computerised jacquard weaving, she creatively breaks down the boundaries of textile art, using a variety of materials, means of expression and media (photography, sound). Monika Žaltė's work is characterised by a metaphysical dimension, focusing on fundamental questions of existence, social themes, the search for female identity and a relationship with the cultural, historical and mythological past of fabric. During the season, Monika will be presenting a number of participatory installations on the banks of the canal, entitled All Rivers Flows to the SEA, connecting the river and textiles.

Hamagique
Greta Kardi-Kardišiūtė is a Lithuanian artist whose creations combine textile art and land art, deeply connected to nature and the exploration of materials. A graduate of the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, she has developed a unique practice based on the use of wooden sticks that she integrates into her works to "embroider" the ground, transforming the landscape into a living canvas. During the festival, the artist takes over the Bergère Park to create her work "CHANCE - Honeymoon", inspired by the Šančiai district, where she grew up, whose name evokes the French word chance. Her creation, marked by its ephemeral nature, will evolve and degrade over time.

Dance performance ONE, an urban utopia by Arunas Mozūraitis and Clara Giambino
Based in Kaunas and active on the European artistic scene, Lithuanian street dancer Arunas Mozūraitis and French contemporary dancer Clara Giambino have created their performance ‘ONE’. This singular and powerful duo brought their worlds together, transcending the boundaries of their styles to explore the links between tradition and modernity, nature and urbanity.
To coincide with the Grande Ville exhibition and the Lithuanian Season in France, they took over the outdoor spaces of the Magasins Généraux to transform this urban environment into a moment of breath and connection. Their performance offers a poetic and utopian vision of the city, where nature and human structures intertwine to create a space of respite from the urban bustle.
Set against the imposing architecture of the Magasins Généraux and the constant flow of water, ONE became a living representation of the symbiosis between nature and urbanity, where every movement seemed to capture the breath of the city itself.
