cyanotype training
Cyanotype is a nineteenth-century photographic technique based on the use of light-sensitive iron salts to produce contact images. Distinguishable by its blue colour, the image obtained has a graphic appearance similar to that of a drawing. Object prints are also known as rayograms or photogenic drawings.
This cyanotype training course for senior volunteers from the Cercle Boissière provided an opportunity to learn the theoretical and practical basics of this ancient process.
