Yuhsin U Chang was born in 1980 in Taiwan and has lived in France since 2003.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Art de Bourges in 2008, she continued her studies at the University of Paris I in 2009. She has participated in several group exhibitions including Dynasty at the Palais de Tokyo and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in 2010, Afterlife at the Tot Zover Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 2011, at Vent des Forêts, an "open-air contemporary art space" in 2014 and at the Changhua Museum of Modern Art in Taiwan.
The works of Yuhsin U Chang explore the forms and poetics of life through raw materials (dust, sheep's wool, linen fiber, leather, wood, etc.) assembled and organized in a sculptural language.
